Student Work:  Process Phase

Each group researched a topic about the Monarch Butterfly.  Students were required to use a flip book (created by the teacher) to record their information. 

Students researched their topic using various websites found on the Web Quest and a variety of non-fictional texts in our classroom.  The flip books contained all of the questions they must answer in order to complete the Web Quest.  In addition, the flip book helped students organize their research information and incorporate facts into a final project.  Furthermore, the flip book helped during my conferences with each group by providing an accurate picture of both their progress and quality of work.
